Review Queue & Approvals
Last updated: June 2026
The review queue is where AI-generated posts and human-authored drafts wait for sign-off before they are scheduled. This guide explains how to approve, reject, comment on, and edit posts in the queue, and how to configure your approval workflow.
Finding the review queue
Click Review in the left sidebar. The queue shows all posts in Draft state across all brands you have access to. Use the filters at the top to narrow by brand, platform, campaign, or assignee. The badge on the sidebar icon shows the number of posts awaiting your action.
Approving a post
Open a post and review the content, image, and scheduled time. If everything looks good, clickApprove. The post moves to Approved state and Anthyx will publish it at the scheduled time. You can approve multiple posts at once by selecting them in the list view and using Bulk approve.
Editing before approval
Click directly on the post copy or image to edit inline. All edits are auto-saved. Once you're happy with the revised version, click Approve — the edited version, not the original AI draft, is what gets published. Use Regenerate (⌘R) if you'd prefer a fresh AI attempt instead.
Rejecting and requesting changes
If a post isn't ready, click Request changes rather than leaving it in the queue. A comment box opens where you can explain what needs fixing (e.g. “Tone is too casual — needs to match our formal brand voice”). The post is flagged and the original author or AI agent is notified. AI-generated posts with change requests are queued for regeneration with your comment as additional context.
Leaving comments without rejecting
Use the Comments panel on the right side of any post to leave notes for team members without changing the post state. Mention a colleague with @name to send them a notification. Comments are visible to all workspace members with access to that brand — clients on the Client Portal can also see and add comments if the post is shared with them.
Setting up multi-step approval
On Growth and Agency plans, you can require posts to be approved by two people before they are scheduled. Enable this under Settings → Workflow → Require dual approval. When active, a post needs one Reviewer approval and one Admin or Owner approval before its state changes to Approved. The second approver can see who already approved and any comments they left.
